Approx Size: 12.5 length x 9 Inches wide (Including straps)

Materials
I have used:-
50 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK Yarn in color 1
Small amount of King Cole Big Value Baby DK Yarn in colors 2 & 3

OR an equivalent yarn would be:-
1.75oz of Worsted Weight #3 in color 1
Small amount of Worsted Weight #3 in colors 2 & 3

4.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hook, 1 button

GAUGE – 5hdc and 3.5 rows of hdc measures approx 1 inch

Bib – (RS) Using 4.00mm hook and color 1, ch24, 1hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 1hdc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. (23hdc)

2nd row – (Inc row) ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 2hdc in next hdc, 1hdc in each hdc to last 2hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, 1hdc in last hdc. Turn. (25hdc)

3rd row – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each hdc to end. Turn.

4th to 9th rows – Rpt last 2 rows until you have 31hdc in all. Fasten off. Turn.

10th and 11th Row – Join in color 2, rpt 3rd Row. Fasten off.

12th and 13th Row – Join in color 1, rpt 3rd Row. Fasten off.

14th and 15th Row – Join in color 3, rpt 3rd Row. Fasten off.

16th to 22nd Rows – Join in color 1, rpt 3rd Row. Turn.

Work should measure approx 6.5 Inches from beginning.

Shape neck /Straps
First Side

Row 1 – (RS) ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each of next 5hdc, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, turn leaving remaining 23hdc un-worked. (see abbrev for dec). (7hdc)

Row 2 – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in each hdc to end. Turn. (6hdc)

Row 3 – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each hdc to last 3hdc, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in last hdc. Turn. (5hdc).

Rpt 3rd Row  from bib 10 times. (add more rows here if you wish)

Row 14 – (WS) ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in last 2hdc. Turn. (4hdc)

Row 15 – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in last hdc. (3hdc)

Row 16 – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc. Fasten off.

Second Side – With RS of work facing, skip next 15hdc, using color 1, yo pull up a loop from next 2hdc, yo, pull through all loops, 1hdc in each hdc to end. Turn. (7hdc).

Row Two – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each hdc to last 3hdc, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in last hdc. Turn. (6hdc)

Row Three – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in each hdc to end. Turn. (5hdc)

Rpt 3rd Row from bib10 times. (add more rows here if you wish)

Row Fourteen – (WS) ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in last 2hdc. Turn. (4hdc)

Row Fifteen – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc, 1hdc in last hdc. (3hdc)

Row Sixteen – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, dec 1hdc over next 2hdc. Fasten off.

Edging – With RS facing and 4.50mm hook join color 1 with a sl st to top left corner of neck edge, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work one row of sc evenly all around outer edge of bib to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Buttonhole Row – Join in color 2, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to last 2sc, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc, sl st to first sc on the beginning of row. Turn. (1 buttonhole made)

Next Row – ch1, (1sc, 2dc) in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, (1sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * around all sides to last 2dc and sc, skip 2dc, 1sc in last sc, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, attach button to correspond with button hole.
