For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

Small amounts of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in each of the colours 1, 2 & 3

4.50mm crochet hook

TENSION – 6tr & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in rounds without turning throughout.

With 4.50mm hook and colour 1, make 5ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, 1ch, work 14dc into ring, ss to first dc on the beginning of row. (14dc)

Row 2 – 3ch, (Inc) 1tr into stitch at base of 3ch, 2tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (27tr + 3ch)  Fasten off.

Row 3 – Join in colour 2, work 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (28dc)

Row 4 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into stitch at base of 3ch, 1tr into next dc, * 2tr into next dc, 1tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (41tr + 3ch)  Fasten off.

Row 5 – Join in colour 3, work 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (42dc)

Row 6 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into stitch at base of 1ch, 1tr into next dc, * 2tr into next dc, 1tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (62tr + 3ch)  Fasten off.

Row 7 – Join in colour 1, work 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (63dc)

Row 8 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into stitch at base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2dc, * 2tr into next dc, 1tr into each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (83tr + 3ch)  Fasten off.

Row 9 – Join in colour 2, work 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (84dc)

Row 10 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into stitch at base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2dc, * 2tr into next dc, 1tr into each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (111tr + 3ch)  Fasten off.

Row 11 – Join in colour 3, work 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (112dc)

Row 12 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into stitch at base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 3dc, * 2tr into next dc, 1tr into each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (139tr + 3ch)  Fasten off.

Row 13 – ss colour 1 to top of 3ch on previous row, * make 3ch, miss 1tr, ss into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to base of first 3ch. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
