Bobble In-between Baby Cardigan – The crochet sample for this adorable cardigan has been made to fit a 6-12 month old, but it can be made in three more sizes using larger or smaller crochet hooks.

Worked from neck down, there is no sewing up involved either in this gorgeous baby pattern.

I have used a Double knitting (light worsted #3) yarn, but if you use an aran (worsted #4) and a 5.50mm hook it could be crocheted for a 12-18 month old.

For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

65 grams of King Cole Comfort DK in colour 1
30 grams of King Cole Comfort in each of the colours 2, 3 & 4

4.50mm crochet hook, 3 small buttons

You can for a:-
0-3 month use a 3.50mm hook
3-6 month use a 4.00mm hook
12-18 Month use a 5.00mm hook

TENSION – 4tr and 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Border – (Worked around cardigan & cuffs) With RS facing, starting on lower left front, working along bottom edge, join in colour 1 with a ss, * work (1ch, ss) in next tr, * rpt from * to * along bottom, up right front edge, around neck, down left front edge, ss to ss on beginning of row. Fasten off.

With WS facing work same stitch pattern around cuff edge, ss to ss on the end of row. Fasten off.

Finishing – Close small gaps underarms, weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, attach 3 buttons evenly down yoke and fasten through gaps in tr’s, fold back cuffs.
