For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, you will need approximately:-
200 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in colour 1
50 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in colour 2

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in multiples of 3 + 2.

Using colour 1 make 68ch loosely, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into 2nd ch from hook, * miss 2ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, 1dc into last ch. Turn. (22 textured groups)

2nd Row – 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, * miss 1tr and 1htr, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr, htr and dc, miss 1tr and htr, 1dc into last dc. Turn.

Rpt 2nd Row in colour sequence as follows:-

Two rows in colour 1, four rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1, four rows in colour 2, fifty rows in colour 1, four rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1, four rows in colour 2, four rows in colour 1.

Border – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at base of the 1ch, 1dc into each st across, 3dc into corner, 1dc in each row end down first side of towel, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along starting chain edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each row end up second side of towel, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
