20 grams of King Cole Comfort DK in colour 1
Small amounts of King Cole Comfort DK in colours 2, 3 & 4

An equivalent yarn would be a light worsted #3

4.00mm crochet hook, 1 medium Button

TENSION – 5htr & 3 rows measures approx 1 inch square

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in rounds with turning until the end of 6th Round.

With color 1, make a magic circle, (RS) work 2ch, 10htr into ring, pull loose yarn to close, ss to first htr on beginning of row. (10htr) 

2nd Round – (Inc Row) 2ch, 2htr into base of 2ch, 2htr into each htr to end, ss to first htr on beginning of row. (20htr)

3rd Round – (Inc Row) 2ch, 2htr into base of 2ch, * 1htr into next htr, 2htr into next htr, * rpt from * to * to last htr, 1htr into last htr, ss to first htr on beginning of row.  (30htr)

4th Round – (Inc Row) 2ch, 2htr into base of 2ch, * 1htr into each of next 2htr, 2htr into next htr, * rpt from * to * to last 2htr, 1htr into each of last 2htr, ss to first htr on beginning of row. (40htr)

5th Round – 2ch, 1htr into base of 2ch, 1htr into each htr to end, ss to first htr on beginning of row.

6th Round – Working into back loop of stitch only, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each htr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (40dc) Turn.

7th Round – Working through both loops of stitch from now on, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off.  Turn.

8th Row – (split for handle) Join in colour 2, make 4ch, 1tr into base of 4ch, * miss 2dc, vst (see abbrev) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Do Not ss to beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn. (14vst)

9th Row – Join in colour 3, make 2ch, work tr3tog into base of 2ch, * make 2ch, miss 2tr, work tr4tog into 1ch space, * rpt * to * to end. Turn. Fasten off. (14, tr4tog) (see abbrev for tr3tog & tr4tog)

10th Row – (Strap) Join in colour 1 make 1ch, work 1dc into base of 1ch, * 2dc into 2ch space, 1dc into tr4tog, * rpt * to * to end, make 9ch. Turn.

11th Row – Work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of next 7ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. (48dc)

12th Row – (Buttonhole Row) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last 3dc, make 2ch, miss 2dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn. (46dc + 2ch space)

13th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 2dc into 2ch space, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. Fasten off.

14th Row – Join in colour 2 make 4ch, 1tr into base of 4ch, * miss 2dc, vst into next dc, * rpt from * to * 12 more times. Fasten off. Turn leaving 8dc un-worked. (14vst)

15th Row – Join in colour 4 and rpt 9th Row. Fasten off.

16th Row – Join in colour 1 make 1ch, work 1dc into base of 1ch, * 2dc into 2ch space, 1dc into tr4tog, * rpt * to * across, 3dc into corner, pushing strap to the front of your work, work 10dc evenly into row ends down first side of warmer, ss into v, work 10dc evenly into row ends up second side of warmer, work 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

17th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc around warmer to end, working 3dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Coaster – Return to loose loops on base of warmer, with top of warmer facing you, join colour 1 to first loose loop, work 2ch, 2htr into base of 2ch, * 1htr into next loop, 2htr into next loop, * rpt from * to * to last loop, 1htr into loop, ss to first htr on beginning of row. Turn. (60htr)

Second & Third Round – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Fourth Round – 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * 2tr into next dc, ss into next dc * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first ss on beginning of row. Fasten off. (30, 2tr groups)

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, attach button to correspond with buttonhole on strap.
