tr2tog.  Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 2tr into same space or stitch, yrh and draw through all 3 loops.

cl vst.  Cluster V-Stitch
Work (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into same space or stitch.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch.

3ch counts as first tr.

Approx Finished Size:     50 x 8 Inches (excluding tassels)

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

110 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 1
50 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 2
100 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 3

5.50mm Clover Crochet Hook

TENSION – 1 pattern rpt and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch

With Colour 1 make 181ch loosely, (RS) work (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into 5th ch from hook, * miss 2ch, (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (59 cl vst) (see abbrev for tr2tog)

2nd Row – 3ch, work cl vst (see abbrev) into each 1ch space to end, 1tr into top of tch. Turn.

Rpt 2nd Row in colour sequence as follows:-

Once in colour 1, once in colour 2, five times in colour 3, once in colour 2 and three times in colour 1.

14th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr2tog and 1ch space to end. Fasten off. (179dc)

Join colour 1 to starting chain edge, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each ch to end. Fasten off (179dc)

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.

Tassels x 26 – For each tassel cut 4 lengths of yarn approx 8 inches long (or your required length) 12 in colour 1, 4 in colour 2, 10 in colour 3.

Fold each tassel in half and thread open ends through a corresponding colour row end, pull ends through the loop you have created and tighten to secure, rpt for each row end. Trim tassels to make even.
