UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 6.
I made 36ch, using colour 1 (RS) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook 1dc into each ch to end. Turn.
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. Turn.
3rd to 6th Rows – Join in colour 2, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. Turn.
7th Row – Join in colour 1, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each of next 4dc, * 1dtr around dc on 2nd Row, (see pic) miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 5dc, * rpt from * to * end. Turn.
8th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each st to end. Fasten off. Turn.
9th to 12th Rows – Join in colour 2, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. Turn.
13th Row – Join in colour 1, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each of next 4dc, * 1ttr (see abbrev) around dtr on 7th Row, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 5dc, * rpt from * to * end. Turn.
14th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. Turn.
Rpt 9th to 14th Rows working ttr around ttr until required length.

14th Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1 1sc in each sc to end. Fasten off. Turn.
Rpt 9th to 14th Rows working dtr around dtr until required length.
