Starting with yoke and worked in one piece.

Make 56ch, (RS) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of the next 7ch, (front) 3dc into next ch, 1dc into each of next 9ch, (sleeve) 3dc into next ch, 1dc into each of next 17ch, (back) 3dc into next ch, 1dc into each of next 9ch, (sleeve) 3dc into next ch, 1dc into each of next 8ch. 2nd Row – (Inc Row) 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work * 1dc into each dc to next 3dc group, 1dc into next dc, 3dc into centre dc of 3dc group, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc group, 1dc into next dc, 3dc into centre dc of 3dc group,  1dc into each dc to end. Turn. (71dc)

Sleeve x 2 – Join yarn with a sl st under arm to first missed tr, make 3ch, work 1tr into each of the next 28tr, ss to top of 3ch on the beginning of row. Turn. (28tr + 3ch)

Second Row – 3ch, work 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on the beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt Second Row until 11 rows have been worked from yoke. Fasten off.

Front Bands
With RS facing join yarn to lower edge of right hand side front edge, make 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of 1ch, work dc evenly into row ends up first front edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck edge, 3dc into corner, work dc evenly into row ends down second front edge. Turn.

Rows 2 to 4 – Working on left front band only make 1ch, 1dc into stitch at the base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. Fasten off at the end of row 4.

Button Hole Band – Return to first front edge, with WS facing, starting from the neck and working downwards, make 1ch, work 1dc into stitch at the base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.

Buttonhole Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last 3dc, make 2ch, miss 2dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into stitch at the base of 1ch, 2dc into 2ch space, 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.

Collar – Working into BLO and on WS of jacket.
