Multi Color Dishcloth

ch.     Chain
sc.     Single Crochet
dc.     Double Crochet
rpt.    Repeat
sl st.  Slip Stitch

Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Finished size approx:  10 Inches x 10 Inches

Materials
35 grams King Cole Cottonsoft DK in Color 1
25 grams King Cole Cottonsoft DK in Colors 2 & 3

OR an equivalent yarn would be:-
1.25oz of Worsted Weight #3 Cotton Yarn in Color 1
1oz of Worsted Weight #3 Cotton Yarn in Colors 2 & 3

4.50mm Clover crochet hook

GAUGE – 5sc & 4 rows measures approx 1 inch

With color 1 ch42 loosely, work 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * ch1, skip ch1, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * end. Turn.

Row 2 – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 1dc in next ch1 space, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.

Row 3 – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch1, skip 1dc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. Fasten off.

Rpt Rows 2 & 3 in color sequence as follows:-

Three times in Color 2
Three times in Color 1
Three times in Color 3
Three times in Color 1
Three times in Color 2
Once in color 1

Row 36 – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each ch1 space and sc to end. Fasten off. Turn.

Edging – With color 3, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc, 3sc in the corner, work 1sc in each row end down first side of cloth, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each starting ch, 3sc in corner, work 1sc in each row end up second side of cloth, 1sc in corner, sl st to the first sc on the beginning of row. Turn.

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc around cloth to end, working 3sc in corners, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of thread.

Thank you for the many free patterns you offer. I really like a lot of them but have a lot of my plate so haven't done any.......HOWEVER...........I'm loving this dishcloth of different colors and think I might make one for my neighbor. WHAT SIZE IS IT WHEN IT'S DONE?
