Tiny Popcorn Crochet Stitch – This sweet little stitch is ideal for crochet toys and small projects when a normal size popcorn would be too large.

RS. Right Side
dc. Double Crochet
rpt. Repeat
tpc. Work 4dc into next dc, drop loop from your hook, insert hook from back to front of work through the top of the first of the 4dc, pick up dropped loop and pull through.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Using colour 1 make a chain length in multiples of 2.
I started with 42ch, (RS) 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn.
2nd & 3rd Rows – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Join in colour 2
4th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * tpc (see pic) into next dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Join in colour 1
5th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tpc and dc to end. Turn.
Rpt 2nd to 5th Rows until length required.
