Crochet Peacock Stitch Free Tutorial

Abbreviations USA
ch.
    chain

sc.     single crochet
trc.   Treble Crochet
rpt.   Repeat

Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Make a chain length in multiples of 10 + 2

First Row – 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 4ch, 9trc in next ch, skip 4ch, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.

Second Row – ch4, 1trc in base of ch4, * ch3, skip 4trc, 1sc in next trc, ch3, skip 4trc, 2trc in next sc, * rpt from * to * end. Turn.

Third Row – ch1, 1sc in space between next 2trc, * skip ch3, 9trc in next sc, skip ch3, 1sc in space between next 2trc, * rpt from * to * to end working last sc in ch4 space. Turn.

Rpt the Second and Third Rows until desired length, for a more colorful look you can change color every 2 rows.

Third Row – 1ch, 1dc into space between next 2dtr, * miss 3ch, 9dtr into next dc, miss 3ch, 1dc into space between next 2dtr, * rpt from * to * to end working last dc into 4ch space. Turn.

Rpt the Second and Third Rows until desired length, change colour every 2 rows for a more colourful look.
