For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn I have used approximately:-
20 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK yarn in colour 1
25 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK yarn in colour 2
TENSION – 5tr & 3.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Crochet baby feeding bib
(WS) With colour 1 make 36ch loosely, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (35dc)
2nd Row – Working into back loop of stitch only make 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end. Turn. (34tr + 3ch)
3rd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (35dc)
4th Row – Rpt 2nd Row.
Rpt 3rd and 4th Rows 6 more times or until 16 rows have been worked.
Fasten off.
Join in colour 2 and work 3rd and 4th Rows twice. Turn.
Work 3rd Row once. Turn. (Work should measure approx 6 inches)
Shape Neck
Side One – Working into back of stitch work 3ch, 1tr into each of next 9dc. Turn leaving 25dc un-worked.
Second Row – 1ch, dec 1dc over first 2tr, (see abbrev) 1dc into each tr to end, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (9dc)
Third Row – Working into back of stitch work 3ch, 1tr into each of next 6dc, tr2tog (see abbrev) over next 2dc. Turn.
Fourth Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end. (8dc)
Fifth Row – Working into back of stitch, work 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end. (7tr + 3ch)
Fasten off.
Side Two – Return to un-worked stitches on neck edge, with RS of work facing, miss next 15dc, join in colour 2 to back loop of next dc, make 3ch, 1tr into each of next 9dc. Turn.
Row 2 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to last tr and 3tch, dec 1dc over last tr and 3ch. Turn.
Row 3 – Working into back of stitch work 3ch, tr2tog over next 2dc, 1tr into each of next 6dc. Turn.
Row 4 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (8dc)
Row 5 – Working into back of stitch, work 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end. (7tr + 3ch)
Fasten off.
Edging – With WS facing, join in colour 2 with a ss to top left corner of shoulder edge, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 39dc evenly into row ends down first side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along starting chain edge, 3dc into corner, work 39dc evenly into row ends up second side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each of next 6dc on shoulder, 3dc into corner, 7dc evenly along neck edge, 1dc into each of next 15dc, 7dc evenly along second side of neck edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each of next 6dc along shoulder, 1dc into top of 3ch, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc all around bib to end, working 3dc into all corners. Turn.
Rpt last row once.
Fasten off.
Chain Ties x 2 – With RS of work facing and using both of colour yarns together, ss to a dc on shoulder (close to neck corner), make 60ch.
Fasten off.
Rpt the same on the opposite side of the neck.
Tie ends x 2 – With colour 2 make magic circle, work 1ch, 8dc into ring, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first dc. Fasten off.

Finishing – Sew in and tie off all loose threads of yarn, attach Tie Ends to the ends of the Chain Ties, sew flower motif to corner or car motif to centre on bib.
