Crochet Boxed Block Stitch USA
Abbreviations – USA
ch. Chain
dc. Double Crochet
Make a chain length in multiples of 5 + 4
1st Row – Work 1dc in 4th ch from hook, * ch3, skip 3ch, work 1dc in each of next 2ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
2nd Row – ch3, work 5dc in every 3ch space to end, 1dc in top of ch3.
Turn.
3rd Row – ch3, 1dc in next dc, * ch3, skip 3dc, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, work last dc in top of ch3. Turn.
Continue to repeat the 2nd & 3rd Rows until you have reached the length you need.
Abbreviations – UK
ch. Chain
tr. Treble Crochet
tch. Turning Chain
Make a chain length in multiples of 5 + 4
