BLO. Back Loop Only
ps. Puff Stitch
* yrh insert hook into next stitch and pull up loop, * rpt from * to * once into same stitch, (5 loops on hook), yrh pull through the first 4 loops, yrh pull through 2 loops.

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 2 + 1
Make 25ch, (RS) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (24dc)
2nd Row – Working into BLO, make 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into dc to end. Turn.
3rd Row – Work through both loops, make 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, * miss next stitch, 1dc into next dc, working across the dc, work a ps (see abbrev) into the missed stitch, * rpt from * to * across until the last dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn. (11ps)
4th Row – Rpt 3rd Row. Turn.
5th & 6th Rows – Working into BLO, make 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each st across to end. Turn.
Rpt 3rd to 6th Rows until required length.
