WS.      Wrong Side

RS.       Right Side
ch.        Chain
dc.        Double Crochet
tr.         Treble Crochet
rpt.       Repeat
ss.        Slip Stitch
DNT.    Do Not Turn

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Approx Size:   10 Inches x 2 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

Small amount of Stylecraft Special DK

3.00mm Clover Crochet Hook, small amount of 6mm wide ribbon

TENSION – 4.5tr & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Make 38ch loosely, (WS) work 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (35tr + 3ch)

2nd Row – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 3tr into 3rd of 3ch, work 3tr into row end on first side of bookmark, 3tr into 1st of 3ch, working along cast on edge work 1tr into each ch to last ch, 3tr into ch, 3tr into row end on second side of bookmark 1tr into base of 3ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. DNT. 

3rd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * work 3ch, miss 1tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * around to last tr, make 3ch, miss tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Little Dinky Flower – Made in rounds without turning.

Make a magic circle, (RS) work 1ch, 12dc into circle, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first dc.

2nd Round – 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * 4tr into next dc, ss into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, work 4tr into last dc, ss to first ss. Fasten off. (6, 4tr groups) 

Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn.

To decorate thread ribbon through centre row of tr’s and tie in a bow or attach the little dinky flower or a ribbon rosebud, the choice is yours.

GAUGE – 4.5dc & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch
