Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Size Approx:   3 Inch Diameter base x 5 Inches High

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

30 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby in colour 1
Small amounts of King Cole Big Value Baby in the colours 2 & 3

4.00mm Clover Crochet Hook

With colour 1 make a magic circle, work 1ch, (RS) 11htr into ring, pull loose thread to close, ss to first htr on beginning of round. Turn. (11htr)

2nd Round – 1ch, 2htr into base of 1ch, 2htr into each htr to end, ss to first htr on beginning of round. Turn. (22htr)

3rd Round – 1ch, 2htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into next htr, * 2htr into next htr, 1htr into next htr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first htr on beginning of round. Turn. (33htr)

4th Round – 1ch, 2htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each of next 2htr, * 2htr into next htr, 1htr into each of next 2htr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first htr on beginning of round. Turn. (44htr)

5th Round – Working into back loop of stitch only, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each htr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (44dc)

6th Round – Working through both loops of stitch from now on, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. Fasten off.

# # Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 2 rows of 1dc into each dc, in each of the colours 2 & 3, slip stitching and turning at the end of each row. Fasten off.

11th Round – Join in colour 1, make 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT. (43tr + 3ch)

12th Round – 3ch, * fptr around next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt * to * to last tr, work fptr around tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. DNT.

Rpt 12th Round twice more. Fasten off. DNT. # #

Rpt from # # to # # once.

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 2 rows of 1dc into each dc, in each of the colours 2 & 3, slip stitching and turning at the end of each row. Fasten off.

Strap – Using colour 3 make 52ch, ss to first ch to form a circle, 1ch, 1dc into back bump of each ch to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Chain Tie – With colour 1 make 61ch, ss into 2nd ch from hook, ss into each ch to end. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, attach strap to inside of pouch (approx 4 dc rounds below), thread chain tie through centre round of alternate htr’s, pull to close pouch and tie in a bow.
