Make it in pastel spring, bright summer, warm autumn or winter colours, the choice is yours.

For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
120 grams of King Cole Comfort DK in colour 1
250 grams of King Cole Comfort DK in colour 2
90 grams of King Cole Comfort DK in colours 3, 4 & 5
4.50mm crochet hook
TENSION – 5tr & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 3 + 1.
With colour 1 make 157ch, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, * miss 2ch, 3tr into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, 2tr into last ch. Turn. (50, 3tr groups)
2nd Row – 3ch, miss 1tr, 3tr into the first space between 2tr and 3tr group, * miss 3tr, 3tr into space between next two 3tr groups, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3tch, miss tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Third Row – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * miss 3tr, 3tr into space between next two 3tr groups, rpt from * to * to last 3tr and 3tch, miss 3tr, work 2tr in top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt Second & Third Rows in colour sequence as follows:-
Once in colour 1.
# Twice in colour 2, four times in colour 3, twice in colour 2, four times in colour 4, twice in colour 2, four times in colour 5, twice in colour 2, four times in colour 1. #
Rpt from # to # 3 more times making 100 rows in all from beginning. Fasten off. Turn.
Border – Join in colour 2, make 3ch, work (2tr, 1ch, 3tr) into base of 3ch, * miss 3tr, 3tr into space between next two 3tr groups, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr and 3tch, miss 3tr, work (3tr, 1ch, 3tr) into corner, working down first side, miss next row end, work 3tr into next row end, work 3tr into every alternate row end down first side to corner, (3tr, 1ch, 3tr) into corner, working along bottom edge, work 3tr into each 2ch space to end, (3tr, 1ch, 3tr) into corner, working up second side, miss next row end, work 3tr into next row end, work 3tr into every alternate row end up second side to corner, ss to top of 3tch on beginning of row. DNT.
Next Row – ss to first 1ch space, make 3ch, work (2tr, 1ch, 3tr) into same 1ch space, * miss 3tr, 3tr into space between next two 3tr groups, * rpt from * to * around blanket to end, working (3tr, 1ch, 3tr) into corners, ss to top of 3tch on beginning of row. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
