Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
80 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 1
40 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 2
TENSION – 3.5htr & 3 rows measures approx 1 inch

With colour 1 make 176ch loosely, working into back bump only (see pic) on ch, work 1htr into 2nd ch from hook, 1htr into each ch to end. Turn. (175htr)
2nd to 4th Rows – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn.
Fasten off. Join in colour 2.
5th Row – (WS) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 1dtr into next htr, 1dc into next htr, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
6th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each st to end. Turn.
7th and 8th Rows – Rpt 5th & 6th Rows once.
9th Row – Rpt 5th Row once.
Fasten off. Join colour 1.
10th to 13th Rows – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each st to end. Turn.
Fasten off.
Working into row ends with colour 1 and starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 2 rows of dc evenly along the short ends of the scarf.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
