Easy crochet chevron stitch tutorial, I wanted to write a free quick tutorial on how to crochet the chevron stitch, trust me it is a much easier pattern than you think.
There are so many colour combinations you can use and the possibilities are endless, I have written this version in double crochet stitch (treble crochet for UK).
I have used a light worsted #3 yarn (double knitting for UK) for the samples, this stitch is ideal for blankets and more projects.

Formats
Two formats have been used to write this easy crochet chevron stitch tutorial, UK and USA crocheters.
Best Yarn
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn in the pattern materials section.
I have used Bernat Softee Baby yarn in white. soft peach, antique white, prettiest pink and soft red for the easy crochet chevron stitch tutorial, but other colours are available.
Crochet Hook Size
I have used a 5.00mm crochet hook size for the samples of the easy crochet chevron stitch tutorial, but check the ball band of the yarn that you are using for the correct hook size for that ply.

Made in multiples of 15 + 7.
I have made 52ch loosely for swatches, work 1tr into 4th ch from hook, * miss 2ch, 1tr into each of next 6ch, 3tr into next ch, 1tr into each of next 6ch, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, work 2tr into last ch. Turn.
2nd Row – 3ch, 1tr into the stitch at the base of the 3ch, miss 2tr, * 1tr into each of next 6tr, 3tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 6tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3tch, miss 2tr, work 2tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
