Crochet blanket stitch tutorial, I could not find a name for this stitch so I decided to call it blanket stitch as this is what it will mostly be used for lol.
Looks lovely on it’s own or you can add rows of other stitches in with contrast colour if you wish.
The sample have been made in a worsted #4 yarn (Aran for UK)

Formats

Best Yarn
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn in the pattern materials section.
I have used King Cole Comfort Aran yarn in jade, cream and cornflower for the crochet blanket stitch tutorial, there is a good range of colours to choose from though in this brand.
Crochet Hook Size
I have used a 6.00mm crochet hook size for the samples of the crochet blanket stitch tutorial, but check the ball band of the yarn that you are using for the correct hook size for that ply.

2nd Row – 1ch, work (1dc, 2tr) into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, * miss 2tr, work (1dc, 2tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and dc, miss 2tr, work 1dc into dc. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until required length.
