Crochet raised V-stitch tutorial, a fun stitch to learn, perfect for blankets, dish or washcloths etc.
For the samples I have used a worsted weight Aran #4 yarn with a 5.50mm crochet hook size, you can use this stitch with any hook size and thickness of yarn though.

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 4 + 1.
I started with a chain length of 37, work (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into 6th ch from hook, * miss 3ch, (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (8 groups)
2nd Row – 3ch, miss 1tr, * fptr around next tr, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into next 1ch space, fptr around next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until required length, change colours every 2 rows if you wish.
