ch.     Chain
dc.     Double Crochet
tr.      Treble Crochet
rpt.    Repeat
BLO.  Back Loop Only
tch.   Turning Chain

Group.  (1dc, 2tr, 1dc) into same space or stitch

Finished size approx: 4.5 Inches Diameter

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used for 6 coasters approximately:-

25 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in colour 1
6 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in colour 2

4.00mm Clover crochet hook

TENSION – 6tr and 2 rows of pattern measures approx 1 Inch

Worked in rounds without turning.

With colour 1 make magic circle, work 3ch, 15tr into circle, pull loose yarn to close, miss tch, join with ss to first tr on beginning of row. (15tr)

2nd Round – (Inc) Working into BLO make 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch,work 2tr into each of next 14tr, miss tch, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (30tr) Fasten off.

3rd Round – (Inc) Working into BLO join in colour 2, make 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, work * 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, work 1tr into back loop of last tr, miss 3ch, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (45tr)

4th Round – (Inc) Work through both loops from now on, 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 2tr, * 2dc in next tr, 1dc in each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (60dc) Fasten off.

5th Round – Join in colour 1, make 1ch, (1dc, 2tr, 1dc) into base of 1ch, * miss 2dc, (1dc, 2tr, 1dc) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 2dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (20 Groups)

Finishing – Weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim.
