RS. Right Side
WS. Wrong Side
ch. Chain
dc. Double Crochet
tr. Treble Crochet
rpt. Repeat
ss. Slip Stitch
yrh. Yarn Round Hook
tr2tog. Treble Crochet 2 Together
Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 2tr in next stitch, yrh, pull through all loops.
clv. Cluster V-Stitch
(tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into same space or stitch
Base of ch. Work into first stitch
3ch counts as first tr
Approx Finished Size: 6 inches x 60 inches
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
150 grams of King Cole Comfort DK

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 3.
* Make 21ch, work 1clv into 5th ch from hook, (see abbrev) * miss 2ch, work 1clv into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (6 clv)
2nd Row – 3ch, work 1clv into each 1ch space to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. *
Rpt 2nd Row until 56 rows have been worked in all. Fasten off.
Pockets x 2 – Rpt from * to * until 12 rows have been worked in all. Turn.
Pocket Edge – (RS) Starting with 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of 1ch, work 1dc into each tr2tog and 1ch space to end, work 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn.
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into stitch at the base of the 1ch, work one row of 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.
Assemble – Place WS of pockets on each end of scarf and pin into position, working through the scarf and the pocket at the same time, (see pics) seal both sides together by working 2dc into each row end down first side, work 3dc into corner, work 20dc evenly along short edge, 3dc into corner, work 2dc into each row end up second side, work 3dc into corner, work 20dc evenly along short edge, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc. Turn.

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into stitch at the base of the 1ch, work one row of 1dc into each dc to end, working 3dc into each corner, ss to first dc. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
