Crochet shells-block stitch, this lovely stitch combination makes beautiful blankets and it’s great for washcloths, dishcloths and more.
You will be using double crochet (treble for UK) to make this easy shells and blocks design.
I have used a worsted weight #4 yarn for the samples, but any yarn would work well.

Best Yarn
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn in the pattern materials section.
I have used King Cole Comfort Aran yarn in shrimp, white and cornflower for the crochet shells-block stitch, but there are many other colours to choose from in this brand.
Crochet Hook Size
I have used a 5.00mm crochet hook size for the samples of the crochet shells-block stitch, but check the ball band of the yarn that you are using for the correct hook size for that ply.
