Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Approx finished size:   11 x 13 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn I have used:-
100 grams of Paintbox Simple DK in color 1
20 grams of Paintbox Simple DK in color 2

OR an equivalent yarn would be:-
3.5oz of Worsted Weight #3 in color 1
0.70oz of Worsted Weight #3 in color 2

5.50mm Clover Crochet Hook

******************************************************************

With color 1 ch92 loosely, (WS) 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (91sc)

Row 2 – ch2, 1dc in base of ch2, 1dc in each sc to end. Turn. (91dc)

Row 3 – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt Rows 2 & 3 three more times. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in color 2.

Row 10 – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each st to end. Turn. (91hdc)

Row 11 – ch1, sl st in base of ch1, * 1dc in next hdc, sl st in next hdc, * rpt from * to * to last hdc, sl st in hdc. Turn.

Rpt Rows 10 & 11 twice more, rpt Row 10 once. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in color 1.

Row 17 – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each hdc to end. Turn.

Rpt Rows 2 & 3 nine more times. Fasten off.

With WS facing fold the bag in half width ways, sl st the long sides together to make a pouch.

Bag Top – Using color 1, work 100sc evenly in row ends along top of the bag, sl st to first sc. Turn.

Next Row – ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt last row until 5 sc rows have been worked.

Handles – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 14sc, ch60, skip 20sc, 1sc in each of next 30sc, ch60, skip 20sc, 1sc in each of next 15sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.

Next Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each of the next 14sc, 60ch’s, 30sc, 60ch’s and 15sc, sl st to first sc. Fasten off. Turn. (180sc)

Next Row – Join in color 2, ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in color 1 and rpt last row once. Fasten off.

Finishing – Turn Through to RS, weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, attach flowers to front of bag.
