For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
40 grams of King Cole Baby Comfort DK yarn
4.50mm crochet hook

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Worked in rounds without turning throughout.
Make 144ch, making sure you don’t twist the chain length, ss to first ch to form a ring.
1st Round – 4ch, (RS) Working into back bump (see pic) of ch, miss 1ch, work 1tr into next ch, * make 1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, make 1ch, miss 1ch, ss to 3rd of 4ch on beginning of round.
2nd Round – 4ch, miss 1ch, work 1tr into next tr, * make 1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 1ch space, miss 1ch, make 1ch, ss to 3rd of 4ch on beginning of round.
Rpt 2nd Round until 12 rounds have been worked in all or work measure approx 6 inches from beginning. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
