Starting with yoke and worked in one piece.

Make 51ch, (RS) work 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into the next 4ch, (front) (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into next ch, 1tr into each of next 9ch, (shoulder) (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into next ch, 1tr into each of next 15ch, (back) (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into next ch, 1tr into each of next 9ch, (shoulder) (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into next ch, 1tr into each of next 6ch. (front) Turn. (52tr, 4, 2ch spaces + 3ch)

2nd Row – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr, # * 1ch, miss 1tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to 2ch space on corner group, make 1ch, (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into 2ch space, # rpt from # to # to last corner group, make 1ch, work (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into 2ch space, rpt from * to * to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Sleeve x 2 – With WS facing, join yarn with a ss under arm to 2ch space, make 4ch, * miss 1tr, 1tr into next tr, make 1ch, * rpt from * to * to opposite side of sleeve, 1tr into 2ch space, make 1ch, ss to 3rd of 4ch on beginning of row. Turn. (15, 1ch spaces)

Second Row – 3ch, work 1tr into each 1ch space and tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (29tr + 3ch)

Button/Buttonhole Bands – With RS facing join yarn to lower edge of right hand side front edge, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 37 more dc evenly into row ends along to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck, 3dc into corner, 38dc evenly into row ends down second front edge. Turn.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 39dc. Turn. (40dc)

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.

Buttonhole Row – Return to first front edge, WS facing, starting from the neck and working downwards, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 8dc, * rpt from * to * three more times, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of the remaining dc. Turn. (5 buttonholes made)
