tr5tog. Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 5tr into next dc, yrh pull through 6 loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Finished size approx:  9.5 x 9.5 Inches

Materials
70 grams of Patons 100% cotton DK in Colour 1
Small amount of Patons 100% cotton DK in Colour 2
Double Knitting yarn is 8ply in Australia

5.00mm Clover crochet hook

TENSION – N/A

With colour 1 make 34ch loosely, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (33dc)

Row 2 – (WS) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * tr5tog into next dc, (see abbrev), 1dc into each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, tr5tog into next dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn. (11, tr5tog)

Rows 3 to 5 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each st to end. Turn. (33dc)

Rpt Rows 2 to 5 eight more times, making 9 bobble rows in all. Turn.

Rpt Row 2 once.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each st to end. Turn.

Edging – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 31dc, 3dc into last dc, working down first side of cloth, work 31dc evenly into row ends to corner, 3dc into corner, working along cast on edge, work 1dc into each of next 31ch to next corner, 3dc into corner, work 31dc evenly into row ends up second side of cloth to corner, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in colour 2, starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, turning and ss at the end of row, work 1dc into each dc around all four sides of cloth, working 3dc into corners.

Work last row once more in colour 2, followed by once in colour 1. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends.
