Base of ch. Work into first stitch.

3ch counts as first tr.
2ch counts as first htr.

Approx Finished Size:  9 X 9 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

40 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft

5.00mm Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook

Made in multiples of 3.

Make 42ch, working into back bump of stitch, (WS) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (41dc)

2nd Row – 3ch, miss 1dc, 3tr into next dc, * miss 2dc, 3tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 1dc, 1tr into last dc. Turn. (13, 3tr groups)

3rd Row – 2ch, miss 1tr, * work (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3tch, miss tr, 1htr into top of 3ch. Turn.

4th Row – 3ch, work * 3tr into each 2ch space to end, 1tr into top of 2tch, turn.

Rpt 3rd and 4th Rows until 11, 3tr group rows have been worked in all. Turn.

23rd Row – 1ch 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Fasten off.

Border – Work 1 row of dc evenly into row ends along right and left sides of cloth. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim off.
