Base of ch. Work into first stitch
Make a chain length into multiples of 11 + 2
With colour 1 work 2dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of next 4ch, * miss 2ch, 1dc into each of next 4ch, 3dc into next ch, 1dc into next 4ch, * rpt from * to * across to last ch, work 2dc into last ch. Turn.
1) 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch.
2) 1dc into next 4dc, miss 2dc.
3) 1dc into each of next 4dc.
4) 3dc into next dc.
5) 1dc into each of next 4dc.
Repeat steps across row to last dc, work 2dc into last dc. Turn.
Continue in rows as set until you have your required length. I have worked 4 rows in colour 1 and 2 rows in colour 2, but change the colours to your own choice.
