3 Cakes of Lion Brand Mandala yarn
An equivalent would be a double knitting yarn
5.50mm crochet hook
TENSION – 4dc and 4 rows of pattern measures approx 1 Inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 2.
Make 122ch loosely, (RS) 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (121dc)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 1dtr into next dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (60dtr)
3rd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dtr and dc to end. Turn.
Rpt 2nd & 3rd Rows until work measures 30.5 inches from beginning or 120 rows have been worked. Turn.
Edging – (Made in rows without turning) Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dtr and dc to end, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each row end down first side of blanket, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along cast on edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each row end up second side of blanket, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc.
Shell Row – 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, * miss 1dc, 1dc into next dc, miss 1dc, 3tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * around all four sides of blanket to end, working 5tr into the corners, work 2tr into the stitch at the base of 3ch at the end of the row, ss to top of 3ch. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose threads of yarn.
