Crochet sherbet baby blanket, easy and adorable free baby blanket pattern, I have used a multi pastel colour yarn, but it would look just as good in solid shades, it is a beginner friendly pattern made in a front and back loop design.

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of any odd Number + 3.
Make 128ch, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (125tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – 3ch, * 1tr into FLO of next tr, 1tr into BLO on next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (see abbrev for FLO and BLO)
Rpt 2nd Row until 58 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Turn.
Working through both loops, make 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, make 3ch, work 2tr into each row end down first side of blanket, 1tr into corner. Fasten off.
Miss starting ch edge and join yarn to corner on second side of blanket, Make 3ch, work 2tr into each row end up second side of blanket, 1tr into corner. Turn.
Border – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr across, 3dc into top of 3ch, 2dc into row end, 1dc into each ch across starting ch edge, 2dc into row end, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each tr across, 3dc into top of 3ch, 2dc into row end, 1dc into each tr across, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Second Row – 4ch, miss 1dc, 1tr into next dc, * make 1ch, miss 1dc, 1tr into next dc, * working (1ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr, 1ch) into each corner, rpt from * to * around 4 sides to last dc, make 1ch, miss dc, ss to 3rd of 4ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Third Row – 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each 1ch space and dc around 4 sides to end, working 3dc into corners, 1dc into base of 1ch, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Fourth Row – 3ch, 3tr into base of 3ch, * miss 2dc, (ss, 3ch, 3tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * around 4 sides to end, (you may need to miss 1dc on corners) ss to base of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
