Abbreviations
RS. Right Side
ch. Chain
sc. Single Crochet
dc. Double Crochet
sl st. Slip Stitch
rpt. Repeat
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
ch3 counts as first dc
Finished size approx: 3.75 Inch
Materials
I have used:-
Small amounts of Stylecraft Special DK in each of the colors 1, 2 & 3
OR an equivalent yarn would be:-
Small amounts of Worsted Weight #3 in each of the colors 1, 2 & 3
4.00mm Clover soft touch crochet hook, 1 small ready made bow.
Ring – Using color 1 ch18, sl st to first ch to make a ring, work a sl st in each ch to end, sl st to sl st on beginning of row. Turn.
Wreath – (RS) ch1, working over the slip stitches just worked, work 35sc in ring, (see pic) sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn. (35sc)
2nd Row – Join in color 2 with a sl st, ch3, work 1dc in each sc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn. (34dc + ch3)
3rd Row – Join in color 3 with a sl st, skip 1dc, 5dc in next dc, * skip 1dc, sl st in next dc, skip 1dc, 5dc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st in base of ch1, ch20, sl st to first sl st on beginning of row. Fasten off. (9, 5dc groups)
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, decorate with a bow.
