ch. Chain
htr. Half Treble Crochet
sl st. Slip Stitch
rpt. Repeat
Base of ch. Work into first stitch.

Make a chain length in multiples of 2 loosely.
First Row – ss into 2nd ch from hook, * 1htr into next ch, ss into next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Second Row – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, * ss into next htr, 1htr into next ss, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Third Row – 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * htr into next ss, ss into next htr, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Fourth Row – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, * ss into next htr, 1htr into next ss, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Rpt Third & Fourth Rows until required length. Change your colour every four rows.
