RS.    Right Side
ch.     Chain
dc.     Double Crochet
htr.    Half Treble Crochet

rpt.    Repeat
ss.      Slip Stitch

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Approx Finished Size:  11 x 3 inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

15 grams of King Cole Comfort DK Yarn

4.50mm Crochet Hook

TENSION – 5htr & 3 rows measures approx 1 inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Make 40ch, 1htr into 3rd ch from hook, 1htr into each to end. Turn. (38htr)

2nd Row – 2ch, working into 3rd loop of stitch, work 1htr into stitch at base of 2ch, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn.

3rd Row – (strap) 2ch, 1htr into stitch at base of 2ch, 1htr into each htr to end, make 10ch.

4th Row – 1htr into 3rd ch from hook, 1htr into each of next 7ch, working into 3rd loop of stitch, work 1htr into each htr to end. Turn. (46htr)

5th Row – (buttonhole) 2ch, 1htr into stitch at base of 2ch, 1htr into each htr to last 3htr, make 2ch, miss 2htr, work 1htr into last htr. Turn.

6th Row – 2ch, working into 3rd loop of stitch work 1htr into stitch at base of 2ch, 2htr into 2ch space, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn.

7th Row – 2ch, 1htr into stitch at base of 2ch, 1htr into each of next 37htr. Turn. (38htr)

8th Row – 2ch, working into 3rd loop work 1htr into stitch at base of 2ch, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn.

Border – 1ch 1dc into stitch at base of 1ch, work dc evenly around mug wrap to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
