UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 2 + 1.
With colour 1 I have made 49ch loosely for the swatches, work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (48dc)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row twice. Fasten off.
Pattern Rows
Join in colour 2.
5th Row – 2ch, htrv (see abbrev) into next dc, * miss 1dc, htrv into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 1dc, 1htr into last dc. Turn. (23htrv)
6th Row – 2ch, work htrv into 1ch space of each htrv to end, 1htr into top of 2ch. Turn.
Rpt 6th Row twice. Fasten off.
Join in colour 1.
9th Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of 1ch, * 1dc into next 1ch space, 1dc into next htr, miss 1htr, * rpt from * to * end, 1dc into top of 2ch. Turn
10th to 12th Rows – Rpt 2nd Row. Fasten off.
Rpt 5th to 12th Rows until required length.
