With colour 1 make a magic circle, work 2ch, (RS) 12tr into circle, pull loose thread to close, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of round. DNT. (12tr + 2ch)
2nd Round – 2ch, work 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of round. DNT. Fasten off. (24tr + 2ch)
Join in colour 2.
3rd Round – 2ch, * 1tr into each of next 3tr, 3tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of round. DNT.
4th Round – 2ch, 1tr into each of next 4tr, * 3tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 5tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, 3tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of round. Turn at the end of this row. Fasten off.
Join in colour 2.
