Group.    (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into same space or stitch.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Approx Size:   6.5 x 30 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

35 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 1
25 grams of King Cole Comfort aran in each of the colours 2 & 3

5.00mm Clover crochet hook

TENSION – 5tr & 3.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

With colour 1 make 32ch, (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into 7th ch from hook, make 1ch, * miss 2ch, 1tr into next ch, make 1ch, miss 2ch, (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next ch, make 1ch, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (5, groups) (see abbrev for tr2tog)

2nd Row – 4ch, (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into 1ch space on next group, * 1ch, 1tr into next tr, 1ch, (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into 1ch space on next group, * rpt from * to * to 5tch, 1tr into 4th of 5ch. Turn.

3rd Row – 4ch, (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into 1ch space on next group, * 1ch, 1tr into next tr, 1ch, (1tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into 1ch space on next group, * rpt from * to * to 4tch, 1tr into 3rd of 4ch. Turn.

Rpt 3rd Row in colour sequence as follows:-

Once in colour 1

# Four times in colour 2, four times in colour 3, four times in colour 1 #

Rpt from # to # three more times or until 52 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Turn.

29th Row – Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 30dc evenly to along to end. Fasten off.

With colour 1 work 30dc evenly along starting chain edge. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim of all loose ends of yarn.
