Buttonhole Band – With WS facing, join colour 1 to neck edge on right hand side of jacket, make 1ch, work 38dc evenly down right front edge to corner. Fasten off. Turn.

Next row – Join in colour 2, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. Turn.

Buttonhole Row – Join in colour 1, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into next 5dc, * rpt from * to * once, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. (3 buttonholes)

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1 more row of 1dc into each dc and 2ch space to end. Fasten off.

Button Band – Return to second side and with WS side facing join in colour 1, working from bottom edge up, make 1ch, work 38dc evenly along edge to neck. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in colour 2, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. 

Next Row – Join in colour 1, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 2 more rows of 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.

Collar – Working along cast on ch of neck edge with WS facing, join colour 1 to first ch after button band, make 3ch, work 1tr in each ch to end, turn leaving buttonhole band un-worked on opposite side. (46tr + 3ch)

Row Three – Join colour 1, make 2ch, 1htr into next dc, * 3ch, miss 2dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 4dc, make 3ch, miss 2dc, 1htr into each of last 2dc. Turn. (19, 3ch spaces)

Row Four – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next htr, * 7tr into next 3ch space, 1dc into next 3ch space, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch space, htr and 2ch, 7tr into next 3ch space, 1dc into htr, 1dc into top of 2ch. Fasten off. (10, shell groups)

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn. Sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes.

Bloomers – With colour 1, make 72ch loosely, ss to first ch to make a round, work 3ch, 1tr into each ch to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (71tr + 3ch)

Starting with 3ch, work 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt last row until 10 rows have been worked in all or work measures approx 4.5 Inches from beginning. Turn.

Divide for Legs – 3ch, 1tr into each of next 35tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn leaving remaining 36tr un-worked.

First Leg – 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (35tr + 3ch)

Rpt last row until 10 rows have been worked in all from division or leg seam measures approx 5 Inches.

Waist – Make 130ch. Fasten off.
