50 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in each of the colours 1 & 2
4.00mm crochet hook
TENSION – 5tr & 2 rows measures approx 1 inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in rounds without turning until the end of 7th Round.
With colour 1 make a magic circle, (RS) work 2ch, 15tr into ring, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first tr on beginning of round. (15tr)
2nd Round – (Inc round) Working into BLO make 2ch, 2tr into base of 2ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round. (30tr)
3rd Round – (Inc round) Working into BLO make 2ch, 2tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round. (45tr)
4th Round – (Inc round) Working into BLO make 2ch, 2tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round. (60tr)
5th Round – (Inc round) Working into BLO make 2ch, 2tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round. (75tr)
6th Round – Working into BLO make 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round. Fasten off.
7th Round – Join in colour 2, make 2ch, work (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into base of 2ch, * miss 2tr, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into next ch, * rpt from * to * last 2tr, miss 2tr, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of round. Turn. (25 groups)
8th Round – ss to first 2ch space, make 2ch, work (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into same space * miss 2tr and dc, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, miss 2tr, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of round. Turn.
9th to 17th Rounds – Rpt 8th Round. Fasten off.
18th Round – Join in colour 1, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, Work 1dc into each 2ch space and tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (75dc)
19th Round – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. DNT.
Work in rounds without turning from now on.
Brim – (Inc round) Working into BLO for this round, make 2ch, 2tr into base of 2ch, * 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round. (113tr)
21st Round – 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on beginning of round.
