RS. Right Side
ch. Chain
dc. Double Crochet
tr. Treble Crochet
ss. Slip Stitch
rpt. Repeat
yrh. Yarn Round Hook
tr2tog. Treble 2 Together
Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 2tr into same space or stitch, yrh and draw through all 3 loops.
cl vst. Cluster V-Stitch.
Work (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into same space or stitch.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch.
3ch counts as first tr.
Approx Size to fit: 10 inch screen tablet.
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
30 grams of Paintbox Simply DK yarn in colour 1
20 grams of Paintbox Simply DK yarn in each of colours 2 & 3
4.00mm Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook
1 medium Button
TENSION – 1.5 cl vst & 2 rows measures approx 1 inch

Pattern is worked in multiples of 3.
With colour 1, make 27ch loosely, (RS) 3dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of next 24ch, 6dc into last ch, working along opposite side of cast on ch, work 1dc into each of next 24ch, 3dc into last ch, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (60dc)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until five rows have been worked in all. Fasten off.
Join in colour 2.
6th Row – Make 3ch, work (1tr, 1ch, 1tr2tog) into base of of 3ch, * miss 2dc, (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 2dc, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (40, tr2tog) (see abbrev for tr2tog)
7th Row – ss to first 1ch space, make 3ch, work (1tr, 1ch, 1tr2tog) into same space, * miss 2 tr2tog, 1cl vst (see abbrev) into next 1ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (20, cl vst)
Fasten off.
Rpt 7th Row in colour sequence as follows:-
Once in colour 1, twice in colour 3, once in colour 1.
# Twice in colour 2
Once in colour 1
Twice in colour 3
Once in colour 1 #
Rpt # to # once. Turn.
24th Row – 1ch, 1dc into each tr2tog and 1ch space to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (60dc)
25th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
26th Row – (Button Loop) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 14dc, make 40ch, ss to side of last dc worked, 1dc into each of next 45dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
