Sugar Candy Baby Blanket

Save this pattern for later!

Sugar candy baby blanket, a delightful project made using the paris stitch design, I love this stitch it’s so easy to crochet and looks beautiful when finished.

The free crochet pattern matches my crochet baby 4 piece outfit and would make an adorable baby shower gift.

I have made the sample with a light worsted yarn (double knitting for the UK), but if you want to make larger you can use a thicker yarn and larger hook size.

Best Yarn

For great results from this free sugar candy baby blanket pattern it is always best to use the recommended yarn in the pattern materials section.

I have used Bernat Softee Baby yarn in white and prettiest pink for the sample of the crochet sugar candy baby blanket, check it though because there are loads of gorgeous pastel colours to wow you!

Crochet Hook Size

Pattern asks for a 4.50mm crochet hook for the main piece of the blanket, I have not added a border to this one, but you are welcome to do so if you wish, you made need a smaller hook to stop it frilling along the edges.
