Crochet Cross Cluster Scarf – To match my cross cluster beanie I have designed an adult size scarf, made in the same lovely cross cluster design this will make a gorgeous set for gifts etc.

Leaving last loop of each dc on hook work 2dc in next stitch, yo and pull through 3 loops.
Crossed Cluster Group. (see tutorial)

Work dc around front post of the dc on row below.
bpdc. Back Post Double Crochet (see tutorial)
Work dc around back post of the dc on row below.
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
ch3 counts as first dc
Finished Size: Approx 56 x 5 Inches
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn I have used approximately:-
130 grams of Lion Brand Baby Soft
GAUGE – 1.5 pattern rpts & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

ch17, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (16sc)
Second Row – ch3, * skip next sc, work 1cl (see abbrev) in next sc, working in front of the cl you just made, work a cl in the sc you skipped, 1dc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (5, crossed cluster groups)
Third Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each stitch to end, 1sc in top of ch3. Turn. (16sc)
Rpt Second & Third Rows 74 more times or until 151 rows have been worked in all from the beginning. Turn.
Border – ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each sc across, 3hdc in corner, work 223hdc evenly in row ends down first side of scarf, 3hdc in corner, 1hdc in each ch along starting chain edge, 3hdc in corner, work 223hdc evenly in row ends up second side of scarf, 1hdc in corner, sl st to first hdc on beginning of row. DNT.
Rib Row – ch2, 1dc in base of ch2, * fpdc around next hdc, bpdc around next hdc, * rpt from * to * to end, working 3dc in each corner and sl st to first dc on beginning of row.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
