Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
140 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK Yarn in colour 1
120 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK Yarn in colour 2
Small amount 7mm Ribbon, 3 small buttons
4.00mm crochet hook
6.00mm crochet hook for small crochet bow only
TENSION – 1 group & 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Angel Dress – Starting with yoke and worked in one piece.
With colour 1 make 55ch, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into the next 6ch (back), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into next 8ch (shoulder), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 17ch (front), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 8ch. (shoulder), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 8ch (back). Turn. (60tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – (Inc Row) Make 3ch, * 1tr into each tr to next 3tr group, 1tr into next tr, 3tr into centre tr of 3tr group, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr group, 1tr into next tr, 3tr into centre tr of 3tr group, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (68tr + 3ch)
3rd to 7th Row – rpt 2nd Row. (108tr + 3ch)
Fasten off. Join in colour 2.
8th Row – (Increase and divide for armholes) 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each next 2tr,* rpt from * to * to next 3tr group, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, miss next 22tr, 1tr into centre tr on next corner, rpt from * to * to next 3tr group, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, miss next 22tr, 1tr into centre tr on next corner, rpt from * to * to end working last tr into top of 3ch. (85tr + 3ch)
Fasten off. Join in colour 1.
Commence with Skirt – Make 3ch, miss 1tr, work (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into next tr, * miss 2tr (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3tch, miss last tr, 1tr into top of 3ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row to make a round. Turn. (28 groups)
Pattern Row – ss across to first 1ch space, make 3ch, work (1tr, 1ch, 2tr) into same space, * work (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into each 1ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Rpt Pattern Row 10 more times, making 12 group rows in all.
Fasten off. Join in colour 2 to first 1ch space.
Rpt Pattern Row once. Turn.
22nd Row – ss across to first 1ch space, make 3ch, work (2tr, 1ch, 3tr) into same space, * work (3tr, 1ch, 3tr) into each 1ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
23rd Row – ss across to first 1ch space, make 3ch, work (2tr, 2ch, 3tr) into same space, * work (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into each 1ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.
Fasten off.
Sleeve x 2 – With colour 1 and WS facing rejoin yarn into side of tr underarm (where you divided for the armholes), 3ch, 1tr into side of tr, 1tr into each of next 22tr, 2tr into side of tr on opposite side of sleeve, ss to top of 3ch. Turn. (25tr + 3ch)
Fasten off. Join in colour 2.
Edging Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row.
Fasten off.
Button/Buttonhole Bands – With colour 1, RS facing and starting at lower edge on right back edge, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 17dc evenly up back edge to corner. Turn.
Buttonhole Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, make * 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into next 6dc, * rpt from * to * once, 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into remaining dc. (3 Buttonholes)
Fasten off.
Return to neck edge on opposite side of back edge, with RS facing make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 18dc evenly down second back edge to end. Turn.
Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, working 3dc into corners. Turn.
Fasten off. Join in colour 2.
Edging Row – With RS facing and starting at lower edge on right back edge, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc and 2ch space up first back edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc down second back edge.
Small Bow – Using 6.00mm hook and yarn double thickness.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends, sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes, attach bow to front of angel dress.
Pants – With colour 2 make 90ch loosely, (RS) ss to first ch to form a ring, make 3ch, work 1tr in each ch to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (89tr + 3ch)
Next Row – 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Rpt last row 8 more times until 10 rows have been worked in all. Turn.
Divide for legs – 3ch, 1tr into next 44tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Continue on these 44tr + 3ch until 6 rows of tr’s have been worked in all from division for right leg. Turn.
Next Row – 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 2tr) into base of 3ch, * miss 2tr, * (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, miss 2tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (15 groups)
Fasten off.
Left Leg – Return to remaining stitches at division and continue in the same way as right leg. (44tr + 3ch)
With RS of work facing, and starting with 1ch work 90dc evenly along cast on edge at waist.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Close small gap on crotch, weave in trim off any loose ends of yarn, turn through to RS. Thread ribbon evenly through tr on waist and tie in a bow.
You can also thread ribbon through tr on the ankles, but this is optional.

With color 1 ch55, (RS) 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in the next 6ch (back), 3dc in next ch, 1dc in next 8ch (shoulder), 3dc in next ch, 1dc in the next 17ch (front), 3dc in next ch, 1dc in the next 8ch. (shoulder), 3dc in next ch, 1dc in the next 8ch (back). Turn. (60dc + ch3)
2nd Row – (Inc Row) ch3, * 1dc in each dc to next 3dc group, 1dc in next dc, 3dc in centre dc of 3dc group, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc group, 1dc in next dc, 3dc in centre dc of 3dc group, 1dc in each dc to end, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn. (68dc + ch3)
3rd to 7th Row – rpt 2nd Row. (108dc + ch3)
Fasten off. Join in color 2.

Fasten off.
Sleeve x 2 – With color 1 and WS facing rejoin yarn in side of dc underarm (where you divided for the armholes), ch3, 1dc in side of dc, 1dc in each of next 22dc, 2dc in side of dc on opposite side of sleeve, sl st to top of ch3. Turn. (25dc + ch3)
Fasten off. Join in color 2.
Edging Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row.
Fasten off.
Button/Buttonhole Bands – With color 1, RS facing and starting at lower edge on right back edge, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 17sc evenly up back edge to corner. Turn.
Buttonhole Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in next 6sc, * rpt from * to * once, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in remaining sc. (3 Buttonholes)
Fasten off.
Return to neck edge on opposite side of back edge, with RS facing ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 18sc evenly down second back edge to end. Turn.
Next Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, working 3sc in corners. Turn.
Fasten off. Join in color 2.
