Start with Yoke – Worked in one piece, starting with yoke.
Using colour 1 make 55ch, 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr in each ch to end. Turn. (52tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of the next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3tch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into last tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (65tr + 3ch)
3rd Row – 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
4th Row – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of the next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr and 3tch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 2tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (81tr + 3ch)

Yoke Edging – With colour 2, return to loose loops on yoke, starting on right hand side and back of angel top towards you, work into top of 3ch on previous row, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each loose loop around yoke and BLO of tr’s on armholes to end. Turn. (145dc)
Picot Row – Working through both loops make 1ch, 1dc into base of ch, 1dc into next dc, * 3ch, 1dc into first of 3ch, 1dc into each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, 3ch, 1dc into first of 3ch, 1dc into each of last 2dc. Fasten off.
Button/Button Hole Bands
With colour 1 starting with RS facing on lower edge of right hand side of back opening, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 21dc evenly up first back edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each tr around neck, 3dc into corner, 22dc evenly into row ends down second back edge. Turn.
Button Band – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to neck edge. Turn.
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.
Buttonhole Band – Join colour 1 to first side of back opening and working from neck downwards make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into next 5dc * rpt from * to * twice, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into remaining dc. Turn. (4 Buttonholes made)
Work 1 row of 1dc into each dc and 2ch space to end. Fasten off.
Chain Tie – With colour 2 make 151ch, ss into 2nd ch from hook, ss into each ch to end. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes, thread chain tie through the tr’s under yoke edging.
BLOOMERS – Using colour 2 make 80ch, making sure you don’t twist ch length ss to first ch to form a ring, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc in each ch to end, ss to first dc. Turn. (80dc)
Next row – 3ch, miss 1dc, 1 shell group into next dc, * 3ch, 1dc into first of 3ch, miss 3dc, 1 shell group into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, miss dc, ss to top of 3ch. Turn. (20 groups)
Rpt Pattern Row from angel top skirt until 10 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Turn. (you can add more rows here if you wish)
Divide for legs – Work Pattern Row across next 10 shell groups, work 1tr into space where picot was made on row below and before next group, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (10 shell groups)
Continue in pattern as set until 6 Pattern Rows have been worked. Fasten off.
Work Pattern Row twice in colour 1 followed by once in colour 2. Fasten off. Turn.
Second Leg – Return to remaining stitches at division and rejoin yarn into same space where picot was made on row below, 3ch, work Pattern Row to end, 1tr into top of 3ch on row below, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. Continue with Pattern Row in the same way as first leg. Fasten off.
With RS of work facing, work 80dc evenly along cast on edge at waist in colour 2, work 2 more rows in dc. Fasten off.
Chain Tie – With colour 1 make 151ch, ss into 2nd ch from hook, ss into each ch to end. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, thread chain tie through tr’s on 9th Round leaving 2 row for a brim, gather to required size and tie once, sew colour 1 flower over knot to secure.
Shoes – With colour 1 make 12ch, (RS) 3htr in 4th ch from hook, 1htr into each of next 7ch, 8htr into last ch, working on opposite side of starting ch, work 1htr into each of next 7ch, 4htr into last ch, ss to top of the 3ch on beginning of row. DNT. (29htr + 3ch)
Round Two – 2ch, work 2htr into each of next 3htr, 1htr into each of next 9htr, 2htr into each of next 6htr, 1htr into each of next 9htr, 2htr into each of last 2htr, 1htr into base of 2ch, ss to top of 2ch. DNT. (41htr + 2ch)
